Description:
Albendazole is a broad spectrum dewormer which belongs to the group of Benzimidazole-derivatives. It is active against gastro-intestinal roundworms, lungworms and tapeworms in cattle, sheep and goats. Worminex 2.5% liquid is also active against eggs of roundworms and liver flukes (not against immature liver flukes).
Indications:
Prophylactics and treatment of worm infections in cattle, calves, sheep and goats like: 
Gastro-intestinal worms:Bunostomum, Cooperia, Chabertia, Haemonchus, Nematodirus,Oesophagostomum, Ostertagia, Strongyloides and Trichostrongylus spp. 
Liver-fluke:Adult Fasciola hepatica. 
Lung worms:Dictyocaulus viviparus and D. filaria. 
Tapeworms:Moniezia spp.
Contra-indications:Administration in the first 45 days of gestation.Side-effects.Hypersensitivity reactions.
Dosage and administration:
For oral administration. 
Goats and sheep:  1 ml. per 5 kg. bodyweight. 
For liver-fluke:       1 ml. per 2.5 kg. bodyweight. 
Calves and cattle:  1 ml. per 3 kg. bodyweight. 
For liver-fluke:       1 ml. per 2.5 kg. bodyweight. 
Medicated water should be used within 24 hours.
Withdrawal period:
Meat:12 days 
Milk:4 days
Storage:
Store in a dry, dark place between 15°C and 25°C.
